Step 11 - Steps required in Landonline

The aim of this page is not to explain exactly how to use Landonline - rather it is a guide of what steps need to be done.

By this stage you will have already entered the header information for you e-survey,

  • Load in the XML file produced by SDRTransfer.
    • go to the "Import Data set" tab and press the import tab at the bottom of the form
    • select the XML file created by SDRtransfer
    • The data set will automatically be pre-validated - have a good look at the critical errors at the top of the report. These reports are a bit over whelming to begin with but get easier after time.

     

  • You may need to specify an underlying parcel to extinguish (if not done is SDRTransfer)
  • You may need to link marks (if not done in SDRTransfer)
  • Click "Capture Dataset" at the top right of the main form
    • load the spatial window to see that you survey looks correct

     

  • select Capture > Survey Header
    • add a comprised in reference
    • add a TA, check the other details

     

  • select Capture > Survey Reference > Add survey Reference
    • click on the spatial window where you want the survey reference to be displayed.
  • select Capture > Mark Capture
    • Edit out all bracketed numbers from the mark names

     

  • select Capture > Traverse Bdy Capture
    • nothing to do unless you have to edit some data, be thankful that you didn't have to type all those figures in!

     

  • select Capture > Title Allocation
    • Allocate titles to the correct parcels

 

  • select Capture > Parcel Capture
    • You will need to unlink then re-link any parcel to proceed.
